Mighty Max - Max Stuff

On this page you will find details about some of the Mighty Max toys that were available back in the mid 1990's. Unfortunately I do not think any of these are available commercially these days, though I have seen some Mighty Max stuff on EBay.

TOYS:

There were an array of Mighty Max toys released during 1994/1995, mainly centred around tiny little figures of our hero, some of which had blue or green caps! How can a toy company make such an error? We all know that Max always wore a red cap. (Max recently told me that he was really annoyed when these blue/green capped toys were released!)

I never did own any of those toys, except for a tiny Mighty Max figure (with red cap!) However; recently I managed to purchased a whole boxful of Mighty Max stuff from a chap on Ebay, including figures and episode related toys. Each update I will place a picture of the items that I managed to obtain:

THE DYMANIC TRIO

The tiny figures (about 12-35mm in height) bore a passing resemblance to the real characters, but obviously created as cheaply as possible.

SKULL MOUNTAIN

Skull Mountain was perhaps one of the bigest Mighty Max toys available (270mmx200mm - opening up to 270mmx400mm.) From the outside it did resemble Skull Moutain quite well but on opening it up it was completely different, though this was understandable do to limitations in the making of the toy. Inside it featured moving parts, an extenable gangway in the shape of a lower jaw with huge teeth. this would have been the pride and joy of any Max fan's collection.

STONE TALON SKULL

I am not sure what this particular toy was called and neither am I sure that it was modelled on Talon, the large skull that was carried around by a huge eagle in the episode "The Souls Of Talon" (series 2). When closed it was a huge stone skull (with Spock ears!) bu twhen opened it revealed what look like a torture chamber.
